Muhammad Izzuddin Iliyes once compared dakwah to solat.
Bayangkan orang tu kata, "Eh, aku tak layak buat dakwah!"
Renungkan.
Sekarang, bayangkan orang tu kata, "Eh, aku tak layak solat!"
lol! kelakar giler.
Hence, Izzuddin continued, "Nak tak nak, dakwah tu memang kita kena buat. Dakwah itu..."
And I completed the sentence with the 1st word that popped into my mind - Natural~
In Southampton, I wrote my name in the sands of summer...
91:8
It's simply natural; it's up to us to choose which road shall we take...
the road not taken?
ReplyDeletei kinda thought about "the road not taken" too, huhu.
ReplyDeletejalan yang penuh dgn onak duri~
meaning? it should be naturally in u>???
ReplyDeletei mean, we're naturally doing dakwah either consciously or unconsciously.
ReplyDeleteE.g.
someone who walks along the park holding a non-mahram's hand is indirectly saying - it's okay to hold hands even if we're not married
someone who spends hours and hours in the internet is implying that it's okay to practice this habit
someone who is not covering his/her aurat is telling others that it's fine if you're not doing it
what's worse is that if the people doing these are those with high reputation; thus others will have a higher tendency to follow their practices as they are somehow "setting an example".
p/s: just realized all of those acts being mentioned are negative ones, hehe
so...in the end, we should all be doing dakwah towards good :)
ReplyDelete(i'm actually elaborating this topic on the surface only :D )
