Visa Guidelines is back

Alhamdulillah, I got married to a lovely lady by the name of Sarah and we're enjoying our new phase in life since that momentous day.

And yeah, I graduated from the University of Nottingham and thus, escaping from the evil clutches of my medical school. woot2! probably needs a post on this as well but yeah, maybe later.

at the bottom of this blog, there is an article on visa guidelines for medical students graduated from UK medical schools under MARA scholarship who are planning to work as an FY1 doctor in the UK.

After all, it was my visa guidelines which i made 5 years ago that helped me to get to know a lot of people and for some, have now become my close friends. And it helped a lot of other people as well. So I hope that this guideline would ease your efforts a bit. Visa application is always confusing.

Pssst...did you hear about that?

You like it don't you? Hearing nasty things about others. Assumptions, speculations, tittle-tattle, scandal, call it whatever you want, the list goes on...

It's interesting yet disappointing to find out that humans have this peculiar fondness of hearing negative stories about others. Once the information is acquired, it needs to be circulated whether it is true or not. Well, did you know that...

"...and fitnah is more grievous than killing;..."
(Al-Baqarah (2):191)

And even if it's true, I heard from someone about this...

"O believers! Avoid most suspicions, verily some suspicion is a sin and do not look out for faults and do not backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would abominate it. And fear Allah, Verily Allah is Relenting, Most Merciful."
(Al-Hujraat (49):12)

    gosip kat kelas sangat bnyak..tapi dah berkurang..Insya Allah..cuma ktorang nak tau..beza antara fitnah..tuduh..dgn..gosip..adekah same??

    kmbian 1: eeee, td aku nmpk adlan jln2 dgn sorang pompuan ni kt lorong midaq..(yang ni boleh dikatakan mengumpat sbb ceritakan keburukan orang & boleh timbulkan kemarahan)

    kmbian 2: ye? betolke ni?

    pd mlm itu,

    kmbian 2: td aku dgr from kmbian 1 yg adlan jln2 dgn satu pompuan kt lorong midaq. tp, cm x caya pulak (yg ni cite apa yg dia dgr tp ragu2 kt kebenarannya)(baik x yah cite)

    kmbian 3: ye? aku pun dgr2 jgk. aku dgr from org, x tau la betol ke x, yg adlan mmg selalu jumpe die kt low yat, shopping pendrive, laptop and play station portable (yang ni blh dikira benda yg sama seperti di atas, cite balik apa yg didengar tp ragu2 kt kebenarannya)
    (baik diam juga)

    dan kmbian 2 & 3 cite benda yg sama dgn menggunakan dialog yg sama kpd sume yg mereka jumpa.

    TAPI bila sampai kt kmbians lain, ayat "x tau la betol ke x" dan "cm x caya pulak" akan hilang dan ayat yg diorang guna utk cite kt org lain akan berbunyi begitu meyakinkan(sbb byk org ckp benda sama, so diorang pun convince la benda tu betol) seperti

    kmbian 20: adlan ni mmg suka keluar dgn pompuan tu, smpi belikan dia play station portable lg kt low yat tu. ptg2 x sah kalau x nmpk dia kt lorong midaq dgn pompuan tu.

    cmtula, dh jd mcm fitnah sikit kn? dan SEMUA dialog di atas ni adalah gossip dan boleh terbawa2 sehingga berlakunya tuduhan dan fitnah.

    inilah yg dimaksudkan dengan manusia ada "peculiar fondness of hearing negative stories about others".

    benda negative je dgr, asalkan cite tu panas, x kisah betul ke x, it will be "circulated".

    mula2 mungkin x berdosa tp lepas lama2 makin bertambah2 dosa. tu sbb lebih baik diam daripada berkata-kata.

    itulah gossip - spekulasi, anggapan, teori, hipotesis, conjecture dan kalau makin panas dan tidak terjaga boleh menyebabkan berlakunya fitnah, nauzubillah.

    harap fhm ttg gossip, sekiranya sesiapa ada pendapat lebih kukuh dan bernas, bolehla luangkan sedikit masa untuk tinggalkan comment...wallahualam ;)
